How scores work

The Tea Score is the percentage of qualified viewers who say a drama was worth it. A rating qualifies when the viewer finished or dropped the drama, has a verified email, and has not been flagged. The score appears once there are at least 20 qualified ratings.

Hot Tea means 60% or higher. Cold Tea means under 60%. Fine Tea means 85% or higher with at least 100 ratings.

The Taster score uses trusted reviewers only and appears at 5 Taster ratings. Tasters are invited after 25 qualified ratings with text, a 60-day-old account, a flag rate under 2% and a helpful-vote ratio above the median.

Finish rate is finished divided by finished plus dropped. The drop-off curve shows where viewers quit, in 10% steps, once there are 15 drops. 爽度 and value for coins are averages from 1 to 5, shown at 10 ratings. Audience split shows English and Chinese viewers once each group has 20 ratings.

The hype index runs from 0 to 100. It comes from public chart ranks and other licensed industry signals over the last 30 days, and it never uses YouTube data.

Ranked lists sort by the lower bound of the 95% Wilson interval, so a 9-of-10 drama does not outrank a 900-of-1,000 drama.

To protect scores: no ratings before release; one rating per account per drama; verified email required; accounts under 7 days old count at half weight; rating bursts freeze the displayed score for review; coordinated account clusters are flagged. Removed ratings are logged with the reason.

No one can pay for placement. Affiliate relationships never affect scores or ordering.
